What we collect
When you use LinkPulse to scan a URL, we store the following technical metadata:
- → The URL you submitted for scanning
- → The optional target URL for backlink checks
- → Scan results: HTTP status, redirect chain, canonical, robots signals
- → Your IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention)
- → Your browser User-Agent string
- → Timestamp of the scan
What we do not collect
- ✗ We do not store the full HTML content of scanned pages
- ✗ We do not require registration or collect account data
- ✗ We do not use third-party tracking pixels or advertising cookies
- ✗ We do not sell or share your data with third parties
How we use it
Collected metadata is used exclusively to:
- → Display your scan results
- → Enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
- → Improve service quality through internal analytics
Data retention
Scan records are automatically deleted after 60 days. No manual deletion request is needed.
Cookies
LinkPulse uses only a session cookie required for CSRF protection. No tracking or analytics cookies are set.
